Lewis Major: Triptych

Following sell-out Edinburgh and international seasons, 'Triptych' arrives home to Adelaide in a unique collaboration between the rising star of Australian dance, Lewis Major, & his mentors, legendary UK dancemakers Russell Maliphant & Hofesh Shechter. A stunning mixed bill of repertoire pieces, investigates various poetic possibilities, universal rhythms & cycles performed by Major's world-class dancers. A captivating evening of local & international dance, non-duality & connection between internal & external worlds, all set within a whirling maelstrom of movement, sound & light.

Presented by: Lewis Major

Lewis Major is a staunchly regional South Australian choreographer, artistic director, and creative entrepreneur. With a background in sheep shearing and a foreground in contemporary dance theatre, he is the only artist presenting work at Fringe who can reverse parallel park a tractor and has travelled and worked in all three axis-of-evil countries. A multiple-award-winning artist, he has created 17 different works both independently and on commission and has presented them on six continents to widespread critical and commercial success.
