Kate Smurthwaite: Fire Snake

Comedy • Political
United Kingdom • SA Premiere

Kate Smurthwaite invites us to contemplate whether being foot soldiers in the death march of disaster capitalism is really as much fun as we hoped. Join the comedian and activist for a brilliant (achievable) alternative future. With punchlines.

“Kate Smurthwaite is smart and funny and outrageous all at the same time. If you miss her show, you're only hurting yourself." Tom Ballard.

As seen on everything from Question Time to The Bachelor. Writer for Have I Got News For You.

"Fun, energetic and full of ideas" (John Cleese).

"Smurthwaite’s brilliance lies in her engagement with the crowd, her sarcasm and wit, and her ability to take the proverbial piss out of herself for our enjoyment" Out In Perth.

"I found myself roaring with laughter then roaring with rage" West End Wilma
