I Spy With My Little aaahhh! is an original interactive children's show that tells the story of a family’s car trip from the furnace of February to the coolness of the Dandenong Ranges.
 
At a roadhouse the youngest kid finds there’s a genie in her bottle of Fanta. For the next 526 KMS she tries to work out what her one wish will be….

Presented by: Helen Lawry

A graduate of the International School of Storytelling (UK), Helen is a seasoned storyteller who performs original and traditional stories for adults and children. She has been telling stories for the Art Gallery of South Australia for many years. Helen performed in and contributed to the development of Return to the Village. (Winner 2022 Bank SA Adelaide Fringe Award Best Family show.) In 2023 Helen was a recipient of a Fringe Artist Grant and wrote and performed the successful children’s storytelling show Party for Two. Helen incorporates music into all of her work. She has worked extensively in the development of theatre and story based education programs in historically significant places. Helen is interested in making work that is enjoyable and portable.

The Summer House is a well shaded rotunda close to the North Terrace entrance to the Botanic Garden. (Look for the sign!) Bring a picnic and make a day of it. Parking can take longer than you think. Tram stop: Botanic, Free City Connector Bus.
