Hot Fat Crazy
A love letter to the psych ward, being fat, and a lesson in why that makes you HOT!
Based on Eadie’s many psych ward admissions, this musical sketch comedy ushers you into a surreal, silly and sexy fictional psych ward, where inpatients get it on, the nurses are all in love, and wizards cure your depression with the power of magnets. Oh, and did we mention the 27 SOCK PUPPETS?!
With original songs and raucous sketches that pay homage to the weird and wonderful staff and patients, Tommy and Eadie hold your hand (why is it so sweaty?!) on this absurd journey from start to finish.
Winner of the Tour Ready Award, nominated for Best Cabaret & Best Emerging Artist, + 5 Judge's Picks!
“What an absolute joy. I thought I was in a John Waters musical, definitely ones to watch!" Fringe Judge.
Presented by: Tommy and Eadie
Tommy and Eadie are friends turned enemies turned lovers turned biological siblings turned lovers again turned award winning musical comedy duo. They have worked together on numerous musical comedy ventures, such as Tinder Tales (Tommy says this is where they first met, but the real story involves a bottle of fireball, a bare knuckle boxing fight and a mad dash across the NSW border), and Basic Bitchcraft. After one too many nights riffing comedy songs on the spot and bonding over ill advised psych ward jokes, they decided to take their relationship to the next level, and Tommy and Eadie was born. As with any musical comedy duo, they have had their ups and downs, but these three facts remain - they’re sexy, they’re silly, and they’re determined to get us to regionals.
