Gary Boon VS The Woke - A Character Comedy Show By Ash Chapman
In this satirical piece, 28 year old Ash Chapman takes the stage as 65 year old Gary Boon.
Gary has not been treated kindly by the industry, and although it may be a result of his ridiculous dad jokes and aggressive stage persona, he blames the woke.
He wants to provide for his family, but he refuses to compromise his values to fit in within a system. And although he is somewhat likeable, he is not afraid to hide his resentment towards society as a whole.
PC has gone mad, but not as mad as Gaz.
A lot of people find Gary to be misunderstood, but has been labeled “a beacon of truth” by many patrons of his local RSL.
