In what has become a signature element of Emma Knights’ work, challenging the definitions of what it is to be a woman in music, Folding Minchin will celebrate the role of the piano in rock music, and the unique contributions women make in this genre.

Emma Knights is a graduate of both the Elder Conservatorium (Honours in Popular Music & Ad Dip in Classical Piano) and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Contemporary Music). Emma is a freelance musician and runs her own production company, Emma Knights Productions which has had many ventures over the last 9 years receiving many awards along the way including 3 tourism awards and an InDaily 40 Under 40 Award.
