Set to an ever evolving live soundscape, Fauna is a wholly immersive exploration into the similarities and contrasts between human movement and the instinctual, primal behaviours within the animal kingdom. With high level acrobatics that demonstrate the exquisite skill of each world class performer, the members of Fauna each embody a distinctly individual animalistic character, utilising their specific traits in order to govern how they develop and interact with one another.

Although there is no lack of amazing unseen tricks and skills, the real innovation offered by Fauna is the complete attention to detail allowed by the exquisite skill of each performer. Bringing 6 world class performers together, each of whom are at the top of their game, allows more time to be spent on the small interactions, the often unseen facial and body movements and out of spotlight moments that make the production stand out. Fauna is not just acrobatics, contemporary circus, theatre, or music, but a wholly immersive production.

A collaboration between performers from leading circus companies, including Gravity and other Myths, Seven Fingers, Poivre Rose, and No Fit State Circus, Fauna is a new, multi-discipline acrobatics and contemporary circus company combining high level acrobatics and physical theatre with live music. The company is made up of six world class performers from around the globe; five acrobats who met at the world's leading circus school, Sweden's DOCH, and a live musician. Having previously presented award winning fringe shows both individually and within other collaborations ("A View From the Street" 2014; "A Simple Space" 2014-2015; "Cadence" 2015), the six performers decided to join together to embark on this new and exciting journey.

The company formed in early 2016 and were instantly offered a British Arts Council grant to develop and present a show at the Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts, which has led to securing a number of residencies for further development and performance opportunities all around the world. The Adelaide fringe will act as the world premier of their full length show of the same name.
