Doubt: A Parable

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Performance
SA Premiere
Doubt: A Parable is an award-winning Pulitzer Prize drama written by John Patrick Shanley. The play inspired a movie of the same title starring Meryl Streep. It is about a Nun who believes there is a secret within her Parish. When she suspects the Parish Priest of being a sinner, she sets off armed with nothing but her conviction, to bring him down, causing terrible consequences. This play will leave you not only questioning your moral judgement, but your own certainty long after you leave the theatre.

Presented by: starheART theatre

Founded in 2015 by Laura Colella, starheART theatre is an Adelaide based theatre and production company designed to create opportunities for aspiring artists. It’s aim is to show Adelaide some of the talent that is in it’s own backyard. It runs on the notion that to be successful, you sometimes have to make opportunities happen for yourself. After three Adelaide Fringe seasons, a Melbourne Fringe and the release of their feature film, 'THE ESSENCE', starheART theatre hopes to entertain and inspire audience members with the SA premiere of 'Doubt: A Parable'.
