Introducing Brendan Clare: actor, husband, father, IT nerd. Diagnosed with autism in his 40s, he faces his fears to tell his story with humour and heart. Brendan will look back on moments that were bewildering and disturbing, but now seem profound and illuminating.

This is a no holds barred look at what it means to be an adult on the spectrum. Brendan will stare his anxiety clear in the eye, talk about why we don’t say Asperger’s anymore, ruminate on procrastination, grump about ‘But you don’t look autistic’, and explain why John Shepherd pops up from time to time.

Come find out what makes a non-typical person tick.

We're a collective of 3 friends who have known each other for 30 years. We are friends first, collaborators second. We each have a strength: Brendan Clare - performing, Sofie Kim - organising, Lynette Washington - writing. Together we form Eliza's Inc, named after the coffee joint we used to hang at when we were young.
