Delphi Goes Bassooning - a tiny musical

Theatre and Physical Theatre • New Writing
New South Wales • Adelaide Fringe Premiere

Presented by: Janet Swain

When Janet was a gawky 14-year-old her mother went to a railway auction and bought her a bassoon. A bassoon! They were, after all, a musical family but Janet was in love with the cello. She loathed the bassoon with a passion. What happened next is the meat of this extraordinary “tiny musical” as it weaves together the musical threads of lives lived through music, telling the moving, intimate tale of mothers and daughters and the music that binds them
