Death of the Human Resource

The HR Department has been murdered. Or at least, that's what we think happened. We're not sure, as no one's found the body yet...

Sergeant Melpo and his easily distracted sidekick Officer Thalia, are on the case. But all they have is a hunch, a series of unreliable witnesses, and a lie detector kit that thinks it knows best.

'Death of the Human Resource' is a hilarious and award-winning murder-mystery play brought to you by the team that watched "Knives Out" in cinemas and read a few Agatha Christie novels in high school. It's fun, fast-paced, and will keep you guessing right up to the final moments. It's set in a workplace, so bring your work buddies. Hopefully this side-splitting play will inspire you not to kill your HR rep. Or at least, to hide the body properly.

Presented by: Big Dog Salad

Big Dog Salad is the coolest thing to come out of Darwin since Laksa for breakfast. As an emerging film and theatre comedy group, they are all under 30, more or less (no follow up questions please), and have sold out Fringe Festivals all over the NT. Their catalogue of award wins includes a playwriting award, a Super Producer award, a Spoken Word & Ideas award, a Theatre Network Australia award, and a third-place medal for the 100m sprint in grade 8. Directed by Michael van Berkel, this play contains some of the Top End's most talented and hilarious actors. It was written by Sean Guy, who has a reputation for plays that will keep you laughing, groaning, and guessing, right to the very last scene. If you can guess the ending, we'll buy you a coke. We take our comedy extremely seriously.
