Criminal Outsider is a live, true crime forensics performance that presents the biographies of some of Australia's most fascinating 1900-1930 organised “outsider criminals.”
What is an Outsider Criminal?
Best-selling author Roy Maloy specialises in the biographies of the organised criminals from the 1900-1930’s focusing on the rare outsider group of organised criminals who are female, Aboriginal, children, disabled, elderly or queer.
You will be given printed case files on arrival, with forensics demonstrations of the weapons and theories about the crimes committed by Australia’s most notorious outsider criminals including “Dolly Gray”, the Crutchie Push, Cranky Bella, Aboriginal gangster Daniel Hempfield, vendetta madam Minnie Clark and sly grog baroness Bridget Mahoney.
