The City of Adelaide Band is a community concert band formed in 1936. It comprises volunteer musicians playing brass and woodwind instruments, as well as bass and drumkit / percussion. The Band has about 35 musicians and welcomes new players, The Band is available for hire for private events, otherwise it normally plays in the City of Adelaide precinct, being supported by The City of Adelaide council.
