Cockroach

An amoral revenge tale for the #MeToo generation, 'Cockroach' is a blackly comic prose-poem/grunge-cabaret about female anger.

When C wakes from a nightmare she finds herself transformed into a monstrous vermin. For too long she's yearned to behave badly. Tonight's her night of reckoning!

Disrupting Kafka and Ovid's Metamorphoses 'Cockroach' explores the silencing following abuse and the transformations that occur from it. Featuring a live score on drums, keys and Fender Strat it's an anthem for our times: furious, funny and hopeful.

"A unique, thought-provoking fantasy script juxtaposed with startling facts and reality" Weekend Notes.

"Powerful, creative and unapologetic" Broadway World.

"A very timely and funny commentary" The Buzz from Sydney.

"Furiously smart" Sometimes Melbourne.
