Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 46, Lyra is learning to live with Late Onset Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes while navigating a lack of understanding by others about her chronic illness (no, she didn't eat too much sugar), getting used to inserting devices into her body, carb counting, hypos, hypers and being a full time performer, mum and total DIVA.
