Adelaide’s favourite piano chick, critically acclaimed and Fringe award-winning (best cabaret) Becky Blake, revisits the songs and stories of some of the best chick flick movies of all time, including Bridget Jones’ Diary, Pretty Woman, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Beaches and more. Test your knowledge on the  “Chick Flix Quiz”, sing along with all your fave tunes and explore which of your favourite chick flix actually pass the Bechdel Test.

Get ready to laugh, cry and feel nostalgic as we celebrate life, love and the power of friendship.

You will probably recognise Becky Blake as Miss Candy Bar from iconic show band Chunky Custard. Becky is also known as the Piano Chick, performing cabaret shows to rave reviews at the Adelaide Fringe and Cabaret Fringe Festivals, winning Best Cabaret in 2017.

Becky produces and performs in her own floor shows and bands and as mc at corporate and charity events, touring internationally as feature artist in convention centres, hotels, cruise ships, and live music venues around the world.

Malaysia’s The Star describes her as “Ultra-slick, smooth as wine”. The Advertiser says she’s, “Note-perfect, professional… and full of humour.” So expect “An evening of crowd-pleasing, singalong, arm-waving toe-tapping stuff by a polished entertainer. Doors for the show at The Highway on 16th February will open at 7pm and meals and food will be served until the show begins at 8pm.
