CANCELLED - Life After Loss - Reconnecting with identity, purpose, passion and meaning
Like a book, life can unfold in chapters. Jodie Atkinson's "Have You Met My Grief?" is a compelling chapter in her story.
Devastating loss took its toll and Jodie found herself questioning everything she knew about herself and her place in the world. But what happened next? How does one navigate life after loss and rebuild from the rubble? How do you find the answers to the big questions like "Who am I now?" and "What do I want?"
A thought-provoking and insightful look at how to shift from survival mode, push through fear and integrate back into life with purpose, passion and meaning.
Meal, Workshop/Talk tickets include a main meal within ticket price. Main meals will be served at 6PM, with desserts being available for purchase over the bar. Talk will start at 7PM.

Presented by: Jodie Atkinson
Jodie Atkinson is a Certified Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist®, Speaker, Author, Life After Loss Coach/Mentor and Entertainer. Her debut book, "Have You Met My Grief?", not only serves as a written work but has also been transformed into an Award-winning Cabaret show that premiered at the 2023 Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival. Following a profound personal loss, she became acutely aware of her own lack of preparedness to handle grief. She felt this was largely due to society's reluctance to openly discuss the topic of grief. Driven by a deep passion to help others dealing with grief, Jodie wrote a book on the subject. She also pursued certification in the very program that had aided her in navigating her own loss, all with the intention of helping others.
