CANCELLED - Coming back to life

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Poetry
South Australia • World Premiere

a poetic journey through the deep and into light

we begin with poems and stories of life lived, love shared

then we enter life’s tunnels and caves, poems and stories from the wilderness, the night

we emerge into the light with poems and stories of restoration, healing, renewal, and hope

includes new work, and work from the artist's collections and past performances

raw. honest. cathartic. hopeful.

Presented by: Sarah Agnew

Storyteller and poet, Sarah Agnew has told stories in Edinburgh, at the Scottish Storytelling Centre, Cheltenham, at Greenbelt Festival, and in various parts of the USA and Australia. Whisper on My Palm is the latest of four poetry collections, and its journey through grief for a parent, lament as a community after bushfires and a pandemic, to joyful discoveries of healing and wholeness forms the thread that will weave this evening of poetry and storytelling together.
