For over six years, the Desert Diamonds NT (Alice Springs) have garnered a reputation for fierce class and entertainment which is resplendent with the glamour of the sultry femme fatale. Our Adelaide Fringe premiere, 'Black Diamond Cabaret' weaves together a spellbinding series of vignettes curated from our most iconic works.

Leaning into the traditions of old Hollywood and the follies review with a peppering glam rock and pop power, 'Black Diamond Cabaret' embodies a bold and sassy undertone with a glamorous desert couture visage for audiences to engage with Variety Theatre which is engaging, actively accessible and offers an elevated night out.

The Desert Diamonds have established themselves as an integral cabaret icon in the NT theatrical sector.

Founded in 2017 and boasting a robust yearly calendar of self produced sold out tri-annual cabaret shows locally and maintaining a performance calendar with presenters including regular engagement with Alice Springs Town Council, Red Hot Arts, Desert Festival, Wide Open Space, Tourism NT, The Australian Burlesque Festival and The Lasseter's Convention Centre.

Our work in developing the performing arts sector in Alice Springs includes 3 pillars providing a platform for professional entertainment for variety artists, providing training for remote dancers and creatives and curating accessible shows which cultivate audience development and engagement in live arts.
