‘Bloom’ is a celebration of life’s continuous cycle of growth and renewal, expressed through the timeless art of ballet. This gala show features Adelaide’s finest dancers and international guests performing a range of repertoires. Acts include variations of the Walpurgis Night and Sleeping Beauty, as well as original neo-classical works, with the experience beautifully enhanced by the presence of live musicians.
Suitable for ballet enthusiasts of all ages - from the very young to the young at heart - or those simply wanting to enjoy an entertaining time out, 'Bloom' is a feast for the senses. Ballet Rogue was established by independent dance artist, Mimi Yoshii, in 2024. With a wealth of experience in performing both internationally and in her new home of Australia, she wanted to create a safe and supportive space for Adelaide ballet dancers to collaborate and share their love of dance with local audiences in a non-competitive environment.
The not-for-profit Company comprises classically trained dancers from all walks of life. From pre-professional dancers making their debut on the stage, to professional and ex-professional dancers seeking further opportunities to showcase their skills, Ballet Rogue aims to help all our artists thrive.
