‘Bloom’ with 17-year-old musician, Poppy Moyle-Read in her first solo concert as part of the 2022 Naracoorte Fringe. Take this opportunity to support a small-town artist as she transforms the Foyer of the Naracoorte Town Hall to create an intimate, unusual venue to tell stories with her trusty guitar. Her concert will be a welcoming, all age friendly display of music where she will showcase her original songs alongside covers of everyone’s favourite tunes.

I’m a 17-year-old, self-taught singer/guitarist/songwriter, who learnt to play from YouTube in 2016. The focus of my practice is to express my feelings through lyrics which allow me to voice injustices and find the simplest way to help myself and others understand. The thought of helping others as a young female is my biggest motivation, and my biggest influence to do this has been Taylor Swift. I have opened for Fanny Lumsden’s Country Halls Tour, sung at the Adelaide Festival Theatre and performed solos at Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre, busked at markets, sang at local sporting clubs, performed at birthday parties, attended acoustic guitar gatherings and songwriting workshops, assisted with musical arrangements with Brink Productions and performed at the Naracoorte Fringe Street Party.
