Biddy O'Loughlin: Funny Girl, Sad Songs

Cabaret • Stand-up
Northern Territory • World Premiere

From the girl who brought you ‘The Girl Who Thought She Was Irish’ (Edinburgh, 2011), comes ‘Funny Girl, Sad Songs.’

Picking up from where she left us in 2011, Biddy O’Loughlin weaves her story through dark, dry stand up and sweet, sad songs.

She’s lived in a castle in France and the gutters of LA. From busking on streets all over the world to giving birth in her hometown, there is a lot to talk and sing about.

“She’ll charm your socks off and steal your shoes”

– Fringe Review, Edinburgh 2011

“Biddy’s voice is sublime”

-   The Adelaide Review, March 2020

“A breathtaking performance from O’Loughlin.”

–   Belfast, Out to Lunch Theatre Festival, 2012.
