Making its debut at Adelaide Fringe, ‘And yet I still don't have milk’ is a collaborative exhibition by emerging artists Mia Guerrieri and Erin Renfrey. The concept was born from a moment of personal crisis, when amidst all the chaos, the mundane task of buying milk remained undone. This seemingly absurd notion sparked a moment of levity and humour that had been missing at that time, and the exhibition aims to capture that spirit of absurdity and joy.

Whether you're an art connoisseur or simply someone looking to be captivated by creativity, this intimate exhibition will share a unique perspective of the world through a mixture of traditional watercolour paintings and digitally produced work.

Presented by: Erin Renfrey & Mia Guerrieri

Erin is an emerging artist working traditionally in watercolour and gouache. She completed her Bachelor of Creative Arts at Flinders University and ACArts in 2023. In the same year she was selected for the Helpmann Graduate Exhibition, receiving the Hill Smith Art Advisory Award and Square Holes Award. Renfrey's practice explores inner worlds, ecology and imagination. She investigates these ideas through anthropomorphism and magical realism, merging our world with fantastical elements.

Mia Guerrieri is an artist, writer and illustrator based in Adelaide. Mia’s art and illustration focuses on quirky iconography and a sense of off-beat humour, using storytelling and silly graphics as a way of communicating often times serious messages. Mia’s practice focuses on painting and digital art.
