Adelaide Fringe 2019
All the lovely Magdalenes
Ireland's Magdalene Laundries for 'fallen women' became infamous around the
world following revelations of coercion, exploitation and the discovery of
the mass graves of children. These institutions also operated in
Australia. These are the stories of Melbourne's Magdalenes, explored
through theatre and song.
