Aidan Jones - Passing Time
Last year my grandpa sent me tomato seeds in the post. I planted them. I fell in love, quit drinking and turned 30. The tomatoes were great, my grandpa's a lunatic. He emailed me to tell me his permit for collecting seaweed has expired.
Stand up comedy about love, family and gardening. And passing time.
"One of the most clever young minds on the Aussie comedy circuit." - ★★★★½ - The West Australian, 2020
"He's a masterful storyteller... the warmest I've felt this festival." - ★★★★ - The Age, 2021
During Melbourne's lockdown Aidan set up a table at the end of his driveway with a sign reading "COMEDIAN GIVING OUT FREE JOKES" and told jokes to passers by. 'Sidewalk Comedy' gained plenty of media interest, and his tireless positivity in the face of crisis forms the basis of this new show.
