Adelaide Comedy Gala
The 'Adelaide Comedy Gala', this year supported by ADL Support Services, has graced the Adelaide Fringe for the past 15 years and is returning to Adelaide's favourite comedy venue in 2024 - The Arkaba Hotel! Hosting a multitude of amazingly hilarious and selfless comedians who donate their time and talents to raise funds and awareness for the Sammy D Foundation. Previous lines ups have included: Rove McManus, Fiona O'Loughlin, Peter Helliar, Ivan Aristeguieta, Thomas Green, Tom Gleeson, Hans, Dilruk and Arj Barker! This event is open to all Adelaide Fringe and comedy buffs and never fails to SELL OUT - get your tickets early!

The life of 17 year-old Sam Davis was tragically cut short when he fell victim to a violent and unprovoked one punch assault. Sam’s parents started the Foundation as his legacy with the aim of providing information, knowledge and tools to young people in order to prevent such a tragedy from happening again.
To date the Sammy D Foundation have educated over 230,000 young people about the impacts of bullying, violence, and the risks associated with alcohol and other drug misuse, and provided 1:1 mentoring support to over 500 young people in South Australia.
