Fringe favorite, The Flaming Sambucas, returns to The Regal Theatre with their nationally acclaimed Abba Gold Show. This exciting show takes you back to the start - 50 years ago to when ABBA won the Eurovision song contest with Waterloo. Then to their Australian tour of 1977 – a moment in time which stopped the nation. With authentic costuming and expanded band, Adelaide’s iconic Flaming Sambucas celebrate all the greatest hits of the Swedish supergroup – Supertrouper, Ring Ring, The Winner Takes It All, SOS, Thank You For The Music, Dancing Queen, Voulez Vous and so many more. Re-live the years and the songs that will make you want to sing and smile. This show is presented in an original story-telling way, and is guaranteed to lift your spirits and to touch your emotions.

Over an exciting career of nearly 33 years, Adelaide’s iconic Flaming Sambucas have earned their position as one of Australia’s most popular party bands. They are also known for their 2 acclaimed long standing tribute shows – their ABBA GOLD Show and their ELTON JOHN Show.
The band has continued to share the music and the joy for all of those years - at literally thousands of functions, at Carols By Candlelight on numerous occasions, at events, in theatres and at festivals – nationally and overseas. The band is lead by founder member Terry Nicholas (piano/vocalist) with Heidi Rilstone and Katrina Quigley (vocalists), Matthew McNamee (drums) and Jamie Kuijpers (guitars).
