A Wee Tap
Majella Sheerin relates the story of her life leading up to that fateful event, the investigation, court case and life after prison. A tale evocative of western Ireland in the 1980/1990s.
The story of her mother leaving, the physical abuse suffered in a male dominated household, bullied at school, the cleaning work she was forced to undertake as a teenager (and unwarranted attention), marriage to a man 20 years older. The protagonist lives in her own world of crime and thrillers and delights in being the centre of attention in an investigation. She’s been trapped all her life in more ways than one.
