John Raymond captures the emotions and spirit of John Denver, as he performs songs from this masterful storyteller.
You will be captivated by beautiful ballads, such as Sunshine on my Shoulders and Annie’s Song right through to more up-tempo foot stomping tunes like, Rocky Mountain High and Grandma’s Feather Bed.
John Raymond has been a Denver fan for as long as he can remember. The very first songs he learned to play on the guitar were those of John Denver. He recalls seeing John Denver live in concert in Adelaide, in 1977, and remembers how the at one point the band left the stage leaving Denver on a stool with just his guitar…”it was magical you could’ve heard a pin drop, he completely filled the room with emotion”, says John.

The Arts Centre Port Noarlunga is located in the beautiful seaside village of Port Noarlunga, bordered by the Gulf of St Vincent and the Onkaparinga River.
The Arts Centre presents an annual program of performances and exhibitions, with two dedicated gallery spaces, a performance space, two rehearsal studios and a visual art studio. A range of art classes are also presented by the Centre, as well as by and by local artists and arts organisations, inclusive of dance, acting, theatre, visual arts and singing.
The Art Shop is in the foyer of the Centre showcases over 60 local artists’ work, with a range of artworks, jewellery and home-wares available.
The venue is available for hire to present concerts, events and classes.
