Join acclaimed harpist-singer Emma Horwood and Celtic Harpist Christine Morphett for an exploration of Irish music through the ages. From traditional folk songs and lively jigs to contemporary music by Enya and Michael Rooney, Emma and Chris will take you on a musical journey through the Emerald Isle interwoven with history and storytelling of Irish mythology. Be mesmerised by the sound of two Celtic harps in harmony, with Emma’s silvery soprano voice and a performance by guitar/harp duo Telenn Tri. Don’t miss the combined talents and stunning strumming of 80 strings on stage, and get your greens on in the lead up to St Patrick’s Day March 17th for an all-Irish celebration!

Emma is a music graduate of the elder Conservatorium at Adelaide University and a leading soprano soloist and ensemble singer in Adelaide. She is a core member of Adelaide Chamber Singers, with whom she has toured internationally. She presents frequent solo recitals and performs regularly as harpist and vocalist at weddings, funerals and private functions. Emma also enjoys choral conducting and private teaching and has recorded several CD's which have received extensive airplay on ABC Classic FM.

Telenn Tri are Christine Morphett on harp, Peter Franche on accordion and guitar. Interweaving an interesting blend of old and new Celtic melodies with dexterous harp playing and sensitive guitar arrangements. They have performed all around Australia, including National Folk Festival and Pt Fairy
