4 Greatest Classical B's - Bach & Beethoven & Brahms & Bartok
Experience a magical evening celebrating the musical masterpieces of four classical giants. Three exceptionally talented musicians, two violins and a piano, will take you on a magnificent journey through centuries.
Concerto for Two Violins is an exquisite example of Bach’s late Baroque stylistic writing and is often known simply as the “Bach's Double Concerto”. Beethoven's Romance No.2, from the late 18th century, is heartily lyric, but direct in expression. Brahms critically described 2nd movement of his Violin Concerto as feeble. The premiere was, however, a great success. And Bartok's Romanian Dances simply explode in a variety of folk themes.
Four personalities, four epochs with diverse influences, yet only one common language - music. Don’t miss this unforgettable event!
