A poignant yet humerus show that had me laughing as well as wiping away a few cheeky tears. This was an intimate venue that allowed a vulnerable retelling of what would be anyone’s worst nightmare. Peter is phenomenal in his writing, music accompaniment and performance with a dark humour that makes you at times internally say ‘ooooh did I just laugh at that misfortune?! ’.
A real gem of the Fringe from an incredibly talented artist.

a beautiful, thoughtful, autobiographical reflection on the short- and long-term aftermath of some Really Shit News. the show is funny and touching, and it takes great care of its audience while it explores some pretty heavy subject matter. perfect balance of whimsy and solemnity, really lovely meditation on the joys and the horrors and everything in between. great songs also!
