The Brilliance of Broken Glass
14 March 2025 - Megan W.Wow! I wish I could channel Brooke's eloquence and poetry...but, I'm emotionally floored and somewhat dumbfounded by her ability to share her story with such piercing insight and beauty. I was so deeply moved that I cried on Brooke after the show, and awkwardly bleated an attempt at appreciation. I've never done that, before. That's how special the work is. (Thanks, for being kind and gracious, as I blubbered, Brooke) -

Art is the Medium
14 March 2025 - Andrew G.With beautiful poetry about love, dreams, nightmares, and time, performer Praise Mangena takes us to bewitching, relatable places from our past and our fantasies. Every line she speaks has a captivating sense of gravitas which is simply hypnotising. Mangena is accompanied by dreamy guitar played live, helping us fall even deeper into these realities. If her physical stage presence wasn't so powerful, I would have closed my eyes and drifted into these visions she creates for us. -
