The Quiet Earth Beneath
21 March 2025 - Abbey A.this beautifully crafted performance of storytelling, gorgeously accompanied by some amazing music, admittedly had me in tears. the way Casey makes us all feel like she is telling this beautiful story STRAIGHT to us, is addictive. i wish i could weave some parts of this show into my soul, and i WISH even more, that Casey could see herself the way we do, through-out this performance. please. see. this. -
The Art of Storm-Whistling
21 March 2025 - Andrew G.A one-man performance, The Art of Storm-Whistling is a fantastical tale about a journey across the ocean to find a lost uncle, while encountering beings from legend and folklore along the way. The way it's told is so evocative and immersive, making it feel it's you yourself on the adventure surviving dangers and meeting mythical creatures. With an ending celebrating life as an adventure, The Art of Storm-Whistling is a must-see for fans of European folklore. -
OUTSIDE IN

Black Girl Rising
20 March 2025 - Kit C.Linnea connected with a part of me I didn't even think had a right to be expressed. The little girl who cried on their mother's lap, wishing to be 'normal', like their half-sisters, less 'exotic', though that was the nicest word anyone used for my olive skin, my big lips and hips and dark, frizzy hair. Thank you for making that child feel seen, thank you for taking me on your journey. -
Shadows of Herself
20 March 2025 - Leslie T.A very relatable and engaging performance. Authentic, emotive and with enough chuckles to spare our blushes. This creative storytelling is deserving of our attention and commendation. -
End Game
20 March 2025 - Shona M.A beautiful but emotional story that has been written and performed so creatively that the ending will pull on your heart strings. -
Becoming Benno
20 March 2025 - Leslie T.Didn't feel like a one man show. Well-prepared and presented with versatility and emotion. I feel full of admiration for those who leave their homes to start again in another country. -
Medicine Woman
20 March 2025 - Todd G.I went to this on a whim not knowing what to expect and I can't quite sum it up, this stayed with me for a while, it was not the over the top antics the start will lead you to believe. There is a lot of audience participation and that is the point, don't be shy, you're in good hands and the audience warmed so quickly. The fringe needs more of this and when something stays with you for the drive home and next day you know it's done what it was set out to do. Bravo! -
An Evening with Dame Granny Smith
20 March 2025 - Tamsin L.Loved every minute of this hilarious, smart, tragic tale. David's skill as a ventriloquist and musician are off the charts, multi tasking on another level 🤣 it's beautiful and I hope you get to see it!
