A clever take on lord of the flies

great show but it definitely needs a warning about the flashing lights, if i knew there was flashy lights, i wouldn’t have purchased tickets!

Both a hilarious and sad journey though Lukas’s life experiences. Vulnerable and honest. The best one person show I have seen! Must go watch!

Tent had no ventilation and was excessively hot. It’s a cover band - with intermittent sentences on Kate’s story. Good if you’re a die hard Kate fan, but you’ll learn more from Google. Peter Gabriel duo was beautiful. Volume well over peak on the high pitch Kate numbers. Setting off Apple Watch warnings! There’s a point where loud sound is no longer pleasurable.

Very entertaining, and makes you think.

Tremendous work from Beth Paterson, writer and actor, and Kathryn Yates director. Tales of if holocaust survivors are never easy, but this is told very deftly, with elements of levity and humour interspersed throughout. Resonated very strongly with me as my mother, though not Jewish, was raised stateless in Nazi Germany. I heard her voice in Beth's grandma Niusia repeatedly.

Takes you to the point of emphatic agreement just as you realise that you are going along with an opinion that you despise. Thought provoking and challenging and amusingly conflicting.

I recently saw this magic show that was a total LETDOWN. I expected a lot more magic, but there were barely any tricks (two at most). And the worst part? It wasn’t even all about the magic. There was a weird amount of nudity thrown in that didn’t make sense and felt completely out of place (and fake eg. Prosthetics). It wasn’t edgy or fun, just awkward and uncomfortable. Not what I was expecting at all. Save your money and skip this one!

A little snapshot into the sometimes dark, always messy world of queer entanglements and the difficulties that can arise when people approach these tangled webs in different and conflicting ways. Funny, tense and poignant in equal measure.

Packs a punch and ‘stabbingly’ funny that killed me! It’s like the show is on Tracker Jacker venom the whole time. And did I say the vocals and choreography was to die for?! The odds are in our favor!
