Jacob Jackman - Mr Comedy - A 3-quarter side profile of Jacob Jackman against a white background. He has a shaggy, greying mullet and robust mutton chops. There are bags under his eyes and a serious expression on his face. He is wearing a white tuxedo shirt and thick black overcoat.

Jacob continues to be a breath of fresh air, air so fresh it makes you choke at first because you’re like “is this oxygen or a deadly gas?” But after a few lungfuls you realise that comedy about monkeys is actually the only comedy that should exist and Jacob Jackman has his finger on the pulse of a culture that is so deep underground, it may never be fully excavated. 5 stars.
Rocky the Third - A man in an Elizabethan ruff and a white singlet stands looking dazed and concerned. He has a black eye and a bruised arm

Willing Participant deftly weaves laugh-out-loud comedy with thoughtful and reflective stories to great effect. The seamless transition between humour and tenderness in Carlton's performance leaves you hanging on every word, blindly guessing where his escapades will take him next. His show is that rare Fringe gem, a perfect blend of genres and styles while also serving as a compassionate and timely reminder to relish in the company of loved ones while you still can.

Funny and existential - two words I didn't think I'd be putting together yet here we are. A wonderfully playful reminder of how beautiful humanity can be.
Slippery - Three people stand at a table. They are wearing white nightdresses with high ruff collars. The person on the left holds a phone, on the right holds a spoon, and the one in the middle is making a shocked expression.

Didn’t know what to expect but it was a winner right from the get go. Peter is an excellent writer and a nice little performer. An excellent example of autobiographical storytelling without trauma dumping on the audience. Lovely way to spend 50 minutes. 10/10 would watch again!

The best Fringe show ever, literally! This gotta be the best musicians and vocals ever showcased at Fringe, this is a world-class band that will soon (my prediction) be touring around Australia and overseas, they just don't know it yet. Truly amazing, and it's family and kids friendly too! This was the first time I left a Fringe show knowing that I'd be happy if tickets had costed 2 or 3 times more.
