We have no experience with the church nor with the person who was mentioned from NSW, so that might be a reason why we didn’t understand what the show was about. I don’t want to rate the content. I’d just like to say that people should be aware - we weren’t - that the audience is getting involved quite a bit. Something we try to avoid at all costs. Which is why it wasn’t for us.

Definitely not what you’re expecting, a comedic delight nonetheless!

A beautiful story told via spoken word, music, and an exquisitely decorated dollhouse. Centering on a young woman who's lost in life, she visits her grandfather and his home which contains cherished childhood memories. As they watch a meteor shower together, the town becomes littered with space rock which sparks an obsession for the grandfather. A spectacularly told human story about what places mean to us, and would still captivate even without the slow reveal of each room in the dollhouse.

The storytelling, technical ability, everything was incredible. I was in awe the entire time

Absolutely hilarious and intimate, but also tackles well woven storytelling of their migrant experience and Venezuelan culture, stereotypes, and colonalism.

Nationalism is largely an ugly concept, so as expected I didn't agree with everything that was said but overall I enjoyed the performance - it's worth seeing and yes I did enjoy the bagpipes.

Very well acted and engaging performance, you don't have to be interested in soccer to enjoy the show - a funny and at times a disturbing insight in the mind of a sports fanatic.

Engaging, fun, friendly, and thought provoking. Karen is able to navigate the tough subjects while leaving you hopeful for the future. Worth attending!
