An Incomplete Encyclopedia of Hugs
23 February 2025 - Craig T.I am ten shows into the 2025 Fringe and this is my favorite so far. In this intimate and emotive show, the narrator, Juno, recounts stories from her life that have involved a diverse range of hugs, from wonderful events that resulted in joyful hugs, to awful events that resulted in sad hugs. I saw a few audience members using their complimentary hankies towards the end! Just a shame it only had a short run during the Fringe. If this doesn't win a Fringe Award, I would be very surprised. -
Macbeth
23 February 2025 - Kathryn H.Perfect setting in the botanic gardens. The performers are so expressive and use a great mix of songs in the telling of Macbeth. Would recommend, and you get a sneaky glimpse at some of the Chihuly nights glass sculptures- plus can get a discounted ticket post show to see them all. -
Emma Holland - Don’t Touch My Trinkets
23 February 2025 - Nicholas O.Refreshingly different -
Sam Blythe: Method in my Madness (A One-Man Hamlet)
23 February 2025 - Cathy C.Always thrilled when high-end British acts make it here and Sam's doing two shows this year. As Hamlet - as an actor playing a version of Hamlet - he perfectly aligns the comedic with the pathos. We get to see him in the second half of the Fringe doing Animal Farm. I already know these two shows will make the Fringe for me this year. -
