An old train tunnel that was re-purposed multiple times throughout history has been re-purposed again for art installations! Featuring video, projection, and sculpture, this is a wonderful walk through a now forgotten part of Adelaide history.

A great insight into the history of the tunnels, juxtaposed with art. My 11 year old really enjoyed it.

I went with my husband and we absolutely loved it. So much work has gone into setting everything up. The visuals are brilliant and learning the history of the tunnels was very interesting. The directions to the tunnels were very easy to follow. Well done everyone involved especially the volunteers who were only too happy to answer our questions.

What a surprise! Was not aware of the location or the existence of the tunnels. Interesting - would like to see more of SA’s hidden gems 😁

Well laid out historical displays with many interesting photographs taken in the early 1900's. The last audio visual display at the southern end of the tunnel was accompanied by the sound of a diesel hauled train but in fact diesel locomotives had not been invented yet when this tunnel closed; it only ever hosted steam hauled trains. I would like to see more pictures of the tunnel that replaced this one nearby- the current double track operating tunnel.

Absolutely worth going to have a look. Part of South Australian history open to the public for the 1st time. Great displays!!

Sleeps Hill Tunnel with interstate visitors. A fascinating installation/experience.

The Sleep's Hill Tunnel was very organised with great signs near venue. The kids loved the colorful mushrooms and light tunnel. I loved the history and displays.

An unexpected delight

The tunnels are great. So much history. Been used effectively and amazing vale compared to the vivid Sydney rail tunnels display.
