Thoroughly enjoyed it !!

Outstanding! I’m a longstanding veteran Edinburgh Fringe goer and this is in my top three all time favourites. Beautifully crafted. Laugh, cry, rage. Oh and big surprise, Dr Ahmed can sing! But mostly he can entertain. Go with a bigot and I swear they’ll be converted. This show is winning awards and so it should. Five stars.

Great show! Different levels of emotion as Dr Ahmed tells the story of gis wedding, lots of laughs but some honestly brutal parts, making me a bit sad about the world we live in. Please go see the show!!! It is so worth the 85 mins!!! Loved every second!!

I love a comedy with a storyline, but this one is an emotional rollercoaster. You'll laugh, You'll cry, You'll get some Pakistani wedding decoration tips and You'll walk away feeling positive. Give it a go.

Dr Ahmed Gets Hitched is good for the soul. Hilarious and heartwarming, Ahmed’s life is one fabulous love story. But don’t go thinking it’s all sunshine and saris. There’s genuine drama at the heart of this show. But that’s Ahmed’s gift. He bounces between pathos and belly laughs like a master storyteller. His Bollywood dancing will have you cheering and his wedding speech will have you wiping away tears. Hang on, isn’t this is a comedy show?! Oh yes. It is definitely that! 5 stars.

A brilliant performer and storyteller

Dr Ahmed does accents really well and he also sings BEAUTIFULLY. Must see! It was an emotional rollercoaster that won me over for the hilarity and comedic timing and then again for the genuine emotional rawness that resonated with a story of building your own community that embraces acceptance and loving.
