Surprisingly clever comedy with heartfelt and wholesome recollections of what it’s like to be both a gay man and someone in the LGBTQIA+ community.

AJ whisks the audience away on an adventure through gay parties, the tropics and the occasional country town, with plenty of laughs, and a sprinkling of deep life advice.

Controversial and informative, but funny. I enjoyed it so much. Him explaining his experiences and what he learnt was enlightening and helped me understand aspects of myself. I could relate, and he made it light with some jokes. I would recommend, especially if you are someone from the queer community 😊

“A Beginner's Guide to Gay Cruising” is both very funny and insightful as AJ Lamarque recounts his experience of going on a gay cruise. With themes of identity, sex, authenticity and freedom to be, AJ was warm and personally revealing as he described some of his adventures and lessons learned. A really enjoyable evening, resonating for those who are queer and assessable for those who aren’t. I loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
