Crème de la Crème is presented by Head First Acrobats who have previously presented Circus’cision and Railed.

This production focusses on the performers’ skills and less on a theme. It is a cornucopia of acrobatic skills beautifully linked by the host Cal Harris, also a skilled acrobat.

There are many skills featured that we have come to expect in a circus style production; aerial straps, acro-balance, adagio, contortion and hooping. Local boy Jordan revives the little seen art of the diabolo at an unbelievable speed, culminating in juggling three diabolos, sending them soaring up into the heights of ‘The Vault’.

Other highlights are; Mr Finale, with an unidentifiable European accent, showcasing an amazing display of slapstick and skill with just a touch of nudity to rev the audience up, two topless male acrobats on aerial straps, individually accomplished, but amazing to watch when working together to demonstrate skill, strength and mutual trust and an unbelievably agile mullet wearing bogan, who shows us how to eat a sausage roll while contorting his body into impossible positions and hanging from his teeth!
