‘Fuck stereotypes, new Mums can do whatever the hell they want’, new Mum and bloody funny comedian Amy Hetherington is living proof. We love a Mum who appreciates a well placed f-bomb and she certainly belts out a power hour of laughs.
Kids in Adelaide caught the season opener ‘Crying over Spilt Milk’ at the Rhino Room and we are calling it ‘realism comedy for new Mums’….Mums to be, experienced Mums and actually I feel like the blokes could really learn a lot here too. Just tell them you are booking comedy at the Rhino Room and fill in the finer details later.
Baby Ruby is literally on stage with Amy – the kid is basically a tax deduction right? Amy says while Ruby isn’t paying rent she’s a resource yeah?
Seriously get around one of the eight shows Amy is lighting up this Fringe for a girls night out, or better yet take your Mum! There is even a matinee (venue change to Howling Owl) in the event you can no longer stay awake past 8pm - and yep your squirming babes in arms are welcome because #life, right?
Honestly, this is exactly the type of one woman wonder show we love to support, and you'll leave feeling like you have given your core and pelvic floor a damn pilates class from laughter. All with a wine in your hand. Sold.
