Zak makes his 2025 Adelaide Fringe debut with Twinky Twinky Little Star and he’s coming out swinging!

Twinky Twinky Litte Star holds nothing back with its sharp tongue, quick wit and big laughs. Zak serves us gritty truths, bold and unashamed authenticity through provocative storytelling.

Zak’s comedic debut hits like a seasoned professional.

Twinky Twinky Litte Star is a hilarious first-hand recount of Zak’s coming of age story but even more importantly Zak’s coming out story.

Zak playfully analyses his colourful evolution from a (obviously) little gay boy to a certified “Twink”!

Zak, 28 (twink card soon to be revoked) reflects on the various labels (or category of animal) one might be assigned as part of the gay community. Whether Twinks, Bears, Otters or Seals are your preference – Zak’s Twinky Twinky Litte Star seeks to elevate and evolve beyond the labels.

Zak’s abundance of personality and self-deprecating sense of humor grants its audience the permission to join in on the joke. You might even feel as though you’ve been transported to a (safe) space as if laughing amongst family and friends.

Twinky Twinky Litte Star is a PowerPoint presentation like none other! Zak is gay. That has been obvious since his childhood and he isn’t afraid to bring out the receipts! Incorporating the use of photo albums, old Facebook posts, audio recordings and some pretty incriminating video footage – the shows storytelling now becomes larger than life!

An autobiographical comedy show that oozes with originality and quick wit. Twinky Twinky Litte Star is full of heart, plenty of jokes and thankfully, Zak isn’t afraid to be the punchline!

Packed full of Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent – this show is a certified slay and a most definite yas queen.

Twinky Twinky Litte Star is vehement, bold, unashamedly honest and much like Zak – it invites us all to be unapologetically ourselves.
