Had a BRILLIANT time watching @simontaylorfunnyboy this evening at @thegardenofud ! He was at his usual very high standard and I loved every minute of it!

Poor @simontaylorfunnyboy is mid existential crisis. He wants to raise his son to be a good man but how does he know if he  has accomplished the “good” or the “man” element of that proposition himself yet?

So what’s a boy to do?

And that’s kind of the show, @simontaylorfunnyboy muddling through what he’s willing to do bring his son up right whilst making comments about the shortcomings of the generations that have come before and after him.

The themes were really relatable. I am of a similar age to @simontaylorfunnyboy and pretty comfortable saying our generation struggled to commit to responsibility of washing requirements on dry clean only clothing and now you want us to guide helpless humans into adulthood…. Sure!?!? I see no way this goes wrong!

@simontaylorfunnyboy worked a potentially heavy theme really well. He applied his usual comedic perspective and oh my… it was good!

@simontaylorfunnyboy put on a great show. He was really funny, well written jokes timed perfectly, excellent crowd work and an amazing stage presence.  Thoroughly recommend having a look!!! He’s around until Sunday the 23rd! Tickets through @adlfringe website!
