It was an absolute pleasure to be enchanted by the performers in Tarot Arcana at the @arkabahotel !

Produced by the powerhouse duo @rising_phoenix_productions_ & @seedoeatreview Tarot Arcana was a circus narrated with reference to Tarot Cards. The Lovers, the Emperor, the Magician, the High Priestess. Combine the tarot with the super human aerials, breathtaking fire art, world class burlesque, glittering costumes, dancing that reduced me to tears and one of the most glamorous drag queens in all of the lands and what you get is magic. Pure magic. 

As far as highlights? Can I say everyone?

@fawn_phoenixx is an iconic aerialist! She is amazing athlete,  demonstrates more finesse and grace in her little toe in one performance than I have in my whole body in my entire life to that point. My advice… if you ever get the opportunity to see @fawn_phoenixx live … ask two questions… when… where and then get in the car! 

@duo_ukiyo are going from strength to strength. It’s not even a linear progression of awesomeness. The duo has organically exploded outward from the routines they were doing 6 months ago to explore all kinds of human relationships. Their performances are always multi layered tapestries of gender roles, power, strength, fragility and oh my it’s good! Last night the performance was about the connection between lovers and it was like they were dancing as one … or some kind of piece of fabric blowing in the wind. I was in tears by the end of it…. @duo_ukiyo … you make me feel things with the dancing!

@mollymorphine was the perfect ultra glamorous host. Swanning around the stage just being more fabulous by the minute… the gorgeous creature she is. 

@seb.astian_wolf was positively royal when he performed a stunning routine inspired by The Emperor. @seb.astian_wolf moves like no one else can and uses his onstage persona to challenge norms which is kinda exactly what we need right now!!! ❤️❤️❤️ @seb.astian_wolf ! 

Tarot Arcana was a brilliantly curated aerial circus with just so much heart. I loved every minute of it. This is another one of those shows I’d tell you to rush out and get a ticket but last night was the closing night. Sad face!
