If you’re excited to see some Fringe shows and don’t know where to start, seeing the After Hours Cabaret Club is the perfect way to ease yourself in and get a feel for what you want to see more of.

With a quirky collection of entertainers, you’ll see everything from swing dancing to drag performances and even some marvellously dangerous contorting. If you’re someone who attends every year, you’ll see some fabulously familiar faces such as the hilarious Ruben Kaye, and the enigmatic cabaret-star-host Tash York, who had a lot to say about the Melbourne lock downs that have made her go stir crazy this past year.

The After Hours crew love nothing more than to troll the audience with forced participation, so if you’re a little too shy then choose your seats wisely (stay away from the front row).

Strap yourselves in for a belly full of laughs as these captivating carnies poke fun at themselves (and sometimes you) in this unpredictable, unapologetic, all-inclusive after hours show for adults.

Just make sure you take snacks and drinks in at the start, because this show is a 60-minute lock-in, and the performers will make fun of you for being the only person without a drink in their hand… themselves included.
