The Right Medicine!
The Boys from @headfirstacrobats giving Adelaide what it needs!

Adelaide gets spoiled for circus related choice. To stand out amongst a stellar crowd you need an X factor and the team at @headfirstacrobats brought that to Elixir Revisited in spades.

The show was premised around a research scientist testing out potions on human subjects to see the effects.

The acts in the show were absolutely wild and included some epic apparatus work, flash mobs, expertly choreographed and perfectly executed dance routines, knife throwing, group acrobatics and a bit of strip tease because hey why not.

I’d love to buy the creative director a drink because the show was put together perfectly! The audience was guided from extremely high energy high skill acrobatics to quite poignant slower aerial routines. The change in value and place definitely helped hold the audience interest and somehow the creative director managed to punctuate the extremely clever script with a kind of extreme humour which was completely at odds with the seriousness of some of the dance work but was just great! Great balance

And everything worked together in harmony .

Elixir Revisited even managed to pull together something approaching character development and a story arc for their troupe which is unusual in a circus but reflective of the depth of the show.

Mind absolutely blown by @headfirstacrobats and Elixir - sufficiently so  that I insta stalked all the troupe members so I could thank them all for amazing performance individually!

Loved the energy that these amazing humans bought to Elixir. They all looked like they were having an amazing time on stage which makes such a difference as an audience member. Each of the cast was fully committed to the characters which also added another very welcome layer of amazing to what was an incredible show.

So thank you  to @headfirstacrobats @cal.eastwood.harris @thomas.gorham  @liamdummer @ajsalta for an absolutely excellent show!

You definitely need to see this one!!!
