First of all, what a venue! The Garage International @ Adelaide Town Hall was stunning, offering a beautiful backdrop for this captivating performance.

The show unfolded through thoughtfully paced storytelling and intimate diary entries, inspired by Chinese poetry. The visual elements were striking with a dreamlike atmosphere further enhanced by subtle improvisation, allowing the magic tricks to take a secondary role. This show is the perfect blend of art and magic, you can sit back and really let your eyes feast on the magic happening on stage.

A brief segment of the show explored themes of intoxication, making it more suitable for older audiences (12+) with the blend of magic and poetic verses potentially hard to follow for younger audiences.
The show concluded with a delightful gesture—Taiwanese sweets and balloon swords for the kids.
