Garden of Unearthly Delights
Dazzling, awe-inspiring, physical, stylish. This performance would not have been out of place in decadent Berlin during the 1920’s. This ensemble of extremely talented and extremely flexible circus-like performers had a full house craning their necks towards the round stage in eager anticipation of what was to come next.

The pulsating music tracks featuring “Staying Alive” and “Putting On the Ritz” only added to the excitement, while elegantly dressed artists moved among the audience as though on a fashion runway.
Once the over-sized mirror ball was moved to the side, dancers emerged moving sensually to a thumping, driving beat, dressed in what I would describe as glam rock costumes.

From the stylish and artistic Polina, who spun mid-air by her hair to “It’s a Man’s World”, to the comic stylings of the very “cheeky”uni-cyclist Sam Goodburn, who impossibly removed his pants and put them back on, with the help of a courageous audience member, whilst on his bike. Mr Bean would have applauded wildly.

Aerialist Felipe dazzled us with his acrobatics; Adam skilful work with rings; Diana astounded with death-defying trapeze manoeuvres in what appeared to be a pyramid; Sergiy’s incredible balance on the poles; and tying the performances together was Gigi, who belted out some wonderful rock tunes.

This show has everything. The ensemble buys into the experience, delivers in spades…and then some. This is a helluva presentation. An outstanding show, worth every cent.
